Konan Goes Bonkers - Color

Well I was hesitant to post it up because it seemed a bit like surplus. Still I was encouraged by the commissioner to go on ahead anyway, so his request is honored.

It's a fair bet that the Mask will be touching a lot of female faces in the Naruto universe. First Ino, now Konan. Others will follow suit in a matter of time but honestly with the amount of Kunoichi in Naruto it's best to stick with the characters that are guaranteed lots of page/screen time (with the possible exception of Yugito).

Konan's special ability deals with paper based jutsu and with the Mask in her possession she has plenty of Chakra to spare to produce as much paper as possible if she needs to. I wonder though, is this Konan before or after the Konoha incident? Depending on which one may factor on the persona of her Mask self heavily (I should really ask these questions in Notes @_@).

What chaos does this crazy Kunoichi have in store with her newfound powers?

'After 'The Mask' caused all manner of havoc while being wore by various kunoichi including Ino, Hinata, which was really wacky, and Sakura, which is something that's not to be talked about, Naruto manages to get a hold of 'The Mask' and with Tsunade's permission, keeps 'The Mask' under his guard since it is feared about anyone especially the Akatsuki getting it.

In the aftermath of the battle with Pain and his death by giving his life to restore the lives that he took, Konan had given Naruto the paper flower as a sign of their new alliance.

Before they left however, Naruto asks Konan, "If you are leaving the Akatsuki, what chance do you have against Madara?"

Konan doesn't show it, but she is surprised and she says, plainly, "You know about him, Naruto."

Naruto says, with a plain tone, "The Fourth Hokage told me."

Konan replies, with a plain tone, "Against Madara, I may not stand a chance if he comes. However, I will not submit to him and follow Nagato's and your dream, Naruto-san, even if it means my death."

Naruto takes out a scroll and he says, plainly, "Hold on a minute, Konan-san!" Naruto then brings out 'The Mask' from the scroll and he says, plainly, "Take this with you. It may seems like an ugly mask, but it is filled with incredible power. Believe it, Konan-san! I should know!"

The Nine-Tailed Fox yells at Naruto, "{Kit! Do you know what you are doing?! You know very well what that 'Mask' can do after what it did to the kunoichi of your village!}"

Naruto yells out, strongly, "{I know that you, you dumb fox! But I just can't let them fall to the same jerkwad that made you cause havoc on the village and forced my dad to seal you in me! If this Madara jerk has the ability to control you, she won't stand a chance without Pain! She is a strong person! She could control this thing!}"

The Kyuubi says, with a sigh, "{You will never change, kit. I really hope that you know what you are doing.}"

Naruto gives 'The Mask' to Konan and she says, plainly, "Thank you, Naruto-san. This might be strange, but I'm touched by you caring. Fulfill the dream of Nagato and Jiraiya-sensei, Naruto-san." Soon after, Konan vanishes into paper with Nagato's and Deva Path Pain's, who is the body of Konan's friend Yahiko, bodies.

Back in the Rain Village, Konan puts the bodies of Nagato and Yahiko to rest and prepares to take the place of Pain as the leader of the village. She has a great task before her since she knows Madara knows about her defection.

Konan takes out 'The Mask' and she thinks, "[Naruto-san said that this had great power. But if that's true, why would he have it and give it to me? However, I know that Naruto-san wasn't lying to me. His voice showed me so. However, if this true, how did he come by it and how does it...?]" However, Konan can't finish what she is saying as 'The Mask' gives off a powerful glow in front of her eyes causing a powerful urge to overwhelm her. She turns 'The Mask' around and when it shimmers again, she can't help to put it on her face. When she does so, it latches onto her face and quickly covers her face. Konan doesn't have time to scream as her body goes into a mini-twister filled with strong winds, powerful lightning, loud thunder, and powerful chakra. After spinning around the room and causing some damage to it, the twister vanishes in a burst of chakra and revealing a changed Konan!

Konan's head down to the start of her neck is lime green, long and sensual eyebrows, and she has deep, plump, and goregous Egyptian Blue lips!

Konan/Mask yells out, excitedly, "Spanking! Naruto-san was right! This 'Mask' is incredible!" Konan/Mask then spread her papers all around and she yells out, with a wide sly smile showing pearly white teeth, "Look out, Madara-baka! Try to stop Naruto-san's and Nagato-kun's dream and you are going to get more than a paper cut from me! There is a new 'angel' in town and she is the Angel of Pure Beauty and Power!" Konan/Mask then gives a mischievous laugh that promises ill will to her enemies...'

I has cheap fire background, but honestly the Chakra waves in the alternative pic doesn't look so badly. The artist opted to color Konan without the Mask. I simply took that picture and shooped on the Mask via New Adjustment Layer for the people that wanted to see green on that pic and called it a day.

To be fair, my monitor sucks with dark colors until I get something less crappy. I can't exactly say that I could have handled the jacket much save for the red clouds (a trademark of the Akatsuki to those not fluent in Naruto). Even then it's probably not all that bad really.
