Normally I would introduce this as "Another Mask crossover", "Another touch of green hits the town" or something along that extent.

However the important thing to note is well...Naruto fanart gets a lot of hits on dA and for that I'm a little nervous. While I like the series I'm not prepared for potentially immature fans backlashing on the theme. Hoping for the best though.

On the other hand, I suppose it is inevitable that the Mask would end up in the world of Naruto at some point given the history of crossovers.

It's actually been suggested by a few people in terms of Mask crossovers quite strongly. In addition to that, I heavily commend *Jokerisdaking for choosing the character that people DIDN'T expect. After all Ino doesn't get a lot of screen time, and though I'm more current on the manga than Shippuuden this still holds true.

On a brighter note, I get the feeling people are going to ask for their favorite Naruto girl as the next victim (OMG DO SAKURA NEXT PLZ!!!! O_0) at this point... :I

Whatever the case, just remember this boys...Mask/Ino Wuvs Woo!

STORY:

'In the Hidden Leaf Village, we find Ino training. It has been sometime since the 'adventure' with Genno and the explosive tags in the Hidden Leaf Village.

"Man! Even through I was there, I barely managed to help other than find the fake and hold a guy in place!" Ino says. Ino sigh and she says, "The guys are getting better than me. Shikamaru, Kiba, Choji, and especially Naruto..." Ino then thinks about Naruto and the missions that she has been with him recently especially the Land of Sea mission.

"Naruto has grown so much stronger. The same goofball at the Academy has turned into such an incredible ninja. He crushed Kiba, collbered Neji, and so much more. And I used to..." Ino says, causing her to sigh. She was thinking about her crush on Sasuke Uchiha and more.

"Sasuke isn't the kind of guy that I thought he would be. Personally, I don't think I had a chance with him especially with his friendship with Sakura. But then again, Forehead might not have a chance with the way that Sasuke is. There are other great guys here and maybe I should move on..." Just then something from on top of the nearby tree drops on top of Ino's head and she winches from pain.

"Ouch! What was that?!" Ino yells out as she rubs her head. When Ino looks at the ground, she finds a strange greenish-brown mask on the ground.

Ino picks up the mask and she says, weirded out, "What a ugly mask! I'm not surprised that someone would want to get rid of it." Ino examines the mask and she says, with a giggle, "If Naruto got his hands on it, he would put it on and scare people like this..." Ino then puts the mask to her face, but then it tries to latch onto her face causing her to rip it off causing her to say, shocked, "What the heck?!"

Just then mask shimmers in front of her eyes causing a powerful urge to overwhelm her mind and senses and she brings the mask to her face. The mask immediately becomes like hot wax and rubbery that quickly covers her face. Ino screams from the hot sensation burning through her and she struggles to get the mask off her, but in vain. When the mask locks in place, Ino's body then spins around in a mini-twister filled with thunder, lightning, wind, and chakra energy. She spins around the area uprooting the ground and knocking down a few trees before the twister vanishes in a burst of dust, dirt, and chakra.

From the smoke, a familiar female voice is heard and she says only one word:

"SMOKING!!!"

Later in the village, we find Naruto Uzumaki, Choji, and Kiba together discussing what they usually do.

Choji says, munching on some chips, "So, are you going to eat or not?"

Kiba says, with an annoyed tone, "Is that all you think about? Geez!"

Naruto says, with a nod, "No joke! There is more to life than just eating you know! Believe it!" Just then the three boys heard a noise and they look to the source to see a large column of dirt hearding towards them.

Choji asks, preplexed, "What's that?"

Naruto asks, curiously, "A dust storm?" When they get a closer look, they gasp to see Ino or what looks like Ino coming towards them, but she is totally different!

Ino/Mask yells out, excitedly, "Hey, boys! Give a girl some sugar!"

The three boys give anime fearful looks and they yell out in unison, "WHAT THE?!"

Notes:

-Originally I was going to use pink lipstick, but *Jokerisdaking suggested red.

-Didn't know if she was in the air or trying to run into someone's arms. I thought the latter, so I made a faux-foliage background with floor. Plus after I did shading, it just made more sense that way. Given the exaggeration of movement in anime, it works in my favor.

-God I was practically zoning out coloring this. Didn't help that I was Skyping (helps me color) with Photoshop on, causing my PC to crash a few times... YEAH, it's FUN when you have to redo folds and hair when you have "File Saving Amnesia".

Once again, hope the shading didn't come out TOO crappy and this is still subject to editing if suggested.

This picture is awesome. I like the backstory to it.

Though it should have been longer. Maybe when they saw her running towards them, after they said, "WHAT THE?!, then Naruto should have said "RUN, RUN FOR YOUR LIVES", and then they'd go running away while she chases them through Konoha. That would have been funny.
