Colorist - Who else?
EDIT: That wasn't supposed to be her shirt, though I did end up erasing the hatches from the original linework to make the colors more prominent.
No rest for the selfish I suppose. Shoveling up more Mask wearers into the coloring pile gov'! Longest delay ever being almost a MONTH since the original was posted, maybe I'm losing my flair on these j/k
Kind of surprising that the wearer of today is Kiyone from Tenchi Muyo. I mean Tenchi was my gateway anime, or rather my gateway anime that showed me that dubs CAN be respectable to the Japanese version without pulling a curtain of Americanization and edits over my eyes (take your pick).
Again, a lot of love for this series in a transitional phase of my growing up (for the record, no I did NOT watch it on Toonami in the 2000s, my exposure was a Public Access station that showed the dub during the late 90s
) so it's more than flattering coloring something Tenchi related in my own style. Yessir, Shoxxe certainly captured the character designs to a tee. ^_^
So what does our favorite Magical Mask of Mischief have in store for the Plain Jane Unlucky Career Girl of the Galaxy Police? Well hopefully making her stress induced life a little more carefree...we hope.
Anyway, I hope many of you fans enjoy the long overdue coloring and look forward to the next one with better speed.

'After causing much chaos on the many version of Planet Earth, 'The Mask' once again lands in universe story of the Tenchi Muyo universe.
Today, we find Milky Way detective, Kiyone and Mihoshi, visiting the Masaki Shrine.
Kiyone says, groaning after another hard day of Earth jobs and intergalatic policing, "What a day."
Mihoshi comes over with two candy lollipops and she says, in her usual ditzy tone, "Come on, Kiyone! Cheer up! How about a lollipop?"
Kiyone says, with a groan, "Whatever, Mihoshi."
Mihoshi says, with a ditzy grin, "That's great, Kiyone!" Mihoshi gives an annoyed moan as Kiyone hands Mihoshi the candy and she heads off to eat hers. Mihoshi says, lowly, "I am never going to understand that girl. Why does she have to be so happy and cheerful as well as ditzy all the time? I'm never going to understand her." Mihoshi then finds herself at an old looking tree and remembers something that she heard from Tenchi's grandfather. He said about this tree contained an ancient mask and when someone put on that mask, they turned into some kind of 'green faced monster' that spread chaos throughout the land. Just then Kiyone looks to see a strange greenish-brown wooden mask implanted in the tree. Kiyone asks, curiously while putting the candy that Mihoshi gave her in her pocket, "What's this?" Kiyone goes over to it and she says, annoyed, "It looks like a mask." Just then the mask falls out of the tree and Kiyone yelps in shock. Kiyone can't help to pick up the mask and looks at it. Kiyone says, plainly, "It doesn't look anything special." Kiyone shakes her head and she yells out, "Look at me! I'm a first-class elite officer and getting worked over some kind of ancient legend. I'm starting to become like Mihoshi." Kiyone looks at the mask and she says, strongly, "I'm going to stop this once and for all..." However, it is all that she gets when she puts the mask onto which immediately latches onto her face and quickly covers it. Kiyone screams as she pulls and yanks to try to get it off, but without any successful. She cries out for help before her body spins around in a mini-twister.
We find Mihoshi sitting in front of the temple steps when she hears footsteps walking towards her.
Just then a familiar female voice calls out, "Hi, partner!" When Mihoshi looks up, she sees someone that looks like Kiyone walking up towards her, but the skin of her face is lime green and rubbery-like with deep and plump lips and she has huge lollipop in her right hand. She also has a goofy smile while showing pearly whites.
Mihoshi asks, preplexed, "Kiyone?"
Kiyone/Mask gives a silly giggle and she replies, in a tone that sounds similiar to Mihoshi, "Who do you think silly?"
Mihoshi then becomes focused on the giant lollipop and she asks, curiously, "Where did you get that?"
Kiyone/Mask says, with a goofy smile, "Do you like it?"
Mihoshi says, with a smile, "It's so big! Can I have a taste?"
Kiyone/Mask says, with a sly grin, "Sorry, Mihoshi! Finders keepers!"
Mihoshi says, with a mope, "Kiyone..." Kiyone/Mask gives quite a good as she prepares to lick her large lollipop while Mihoshi's attention is on it and not on the changes on her partner...' Story handled by ~HazardGallantmon-------------
Technical/Side notes
-Had a bit of fun with the fake foliage, just love messing with that "Oil Medium Wet Brush". Should play with brushes more often.
-Probably added a bunch of unnecessary folds on the clothing but that was more of me seeing if that "form" stuff was still fresh in mind XD. I still likes them though, even if "faked".
-Maybe I should tone done Kiyone's belt buckles a bit...
-Didn't spend a lot of time coloring this, just laid out the flats and corrected any "gaps"... then left it alone for a while getting sidetracked @_@
-So... the color of their lollies. Wanna read anything into that? ;3
