Been a while since I had *IDarkShadowI draw a Mask picture, but when I heard about his Black Friday Commission drive, I just couldn't resist breaking him in for a few pictures to gauge his style a bit some years after Marian ([link]).

After some talk, I figured the Breath of Fire III variation of Nina would be suited to test his current style. There were a few adjustments and changes, but in the end I can't thank the guy enough for being patient with me.

I'm sure I'll have the drive to keep playing BoF games as soon as Skyward Sword unleashes its grasp from my gaming time...

Not the first Nina to wear the Mask and probably not the last one either...Time will tell.

Notes/Misc stuff.

-Just like old times: As with the previous IDarkShadowI pictures, shading/tones are set on Hard Light rather than Multiply.

-Lipstick is more likable/The eyes have it: When asking a few of my peers if they preferred Lipstick or no Lipstick, the consensus was Lipstick stays. Nothing was said on the eyes, but I figured on-model was the best way to go. You can see what could have been on the eyes+lips here: [link]. Ignore the hair.

-No ambiguity for you!: Not really related to the coloring process, but usually before a Mask picture is colored there are times when it's unclear in the original artwork if the Mask is being worn or not. The usage of screentone in the BW artwork makes it bit more decisive in that respect.
